Bwambale J. Bosco -

EVALUATION REPORT FOR THE ERADICATION OF CHILD MORTALITY RATE PROJECT.

The evaluation was carried out in the health centres Rubona, and Karambi and also house to house visits. The purpose was to evaluate the understanding and seeing how people put into practice what we taught them. All this was aiming at creating awareness of good health practices towards reduction and at last eradicating child mortality rate.
This evaluation was in the form of questions and responses from them. These questions were asked on the following topics

1.    Nutrition
·   What kinds of foods do you feed your children?
·   How many times do you a day do you feed your children?
·   What shows that your child is hungry or satisfied?
·   Who prepares food for your children?

2.    Breastfeeding
1       How often do you breast feed your child?
2       What are the advantages of breastfeeding?
3       Who stays with your baby?

3.     On HIV/AID
1       What is HIV/AIDS?
2       What is your HIV/AIDS?
3       What is your childs HIV/AIDS status?
4       What preventive measures against HIV/AIDS do you know?

4      Immunizations
1       What is the importance of immunization?,
2       Where do go for immunization?,
3       Are there any side effects of immunization?

5       General hygiene
1       How do make clean water for your family?,
2       Where do you dispose wastes?
3       How do you prevent malaria at home?,

All the above questions were used to evaluate the topics that I taught earlier and others. Some of the questions were answered very well and others not very well. I clarified these questions in the last part of the presentation.
We are very great full for all that you are doing. I would like to inform you that on 11th November 2013 we are starting mock exams, so we are working hard and reading to see that success is at our hand. We shall be breaking off for holidays the 23th of November 2013 we hope to continue with our project activities deep in the villages.
We requesting you to inform us about the next program before we break off for holidays since we come from villages where the is no internet services. We are greatly motivated by the communities due to services especially information about health.
We wish a merry x-mas and happy New Year 2014.
